Monster Truck Rally?

My husband and son want to go to a monster truck rally, in doors in 3 weeks.. I'll be 26 weeks pregnant. I'm not even sure with it being so loud if It's safe? Just wondering what you ladies thought? I plan on asking at my next OB appt as well.

I don't see why it'd be a problem? You're just sitting there. I think the loudest thing for bubs is actually our blood pumping and voice isnt it? I heard that our blood is as loud as a vacum is, so everything that's loud to us on the outside is being muffled anyway

Good to know I over heard one of my pregnant friends saying she couldn't go to a concert because she was pregnant. I didn't know if it was due to the loudness, or something else.

Loud noises CAN be bad for baby. I went to an air show last pregnancy and did a ton of research on this. I finally talked to a specialist who said that one isolated loud event shouldn't be harmful, but prolonged exposure is. He basically told me that mowing the lawn every weekend would do more damage than one really loud day at the air show. I was however, advised NOT to go to a Seattle Seahawks football game, since it's a sustained 138 decibels for several hours! I think we actually hold the world record...lol.
