More Then 2 Scans

Im Just Wondering How Many Scans Has Every Body Had (Having)?
As I Was With A Local Hospital And Had 2 Scanz (11 wks + 20 wks)
I Was Told This Is All Woz Needed etc
However Due To Bad Neccessatys (sp?) at that hospital I Have Changed To Another Local Hospital
Ive Now Been Told I Should Have Had 3 Scans By Now
And Another Scan At 35 Weekz Due To My Age (18) Im At High Risk
Just Wondering If Any Body Else Has Had More Then 2 Scans Due To There Age Or If They Had More Then 2 Scans AnyWay

The norm is a scan at around 12 and a scan at around 20. My hospital give teens two extra scans (no idea why) so I have had 3 so far

I was also 18 for most of my pregnancy and I had 4 scans, but not due to my age. I went privately and I had one 12 week scan, one sexing scan at 15 weeks, one emergency scan at 20 weeks and finally one at 32 weeks when I lost my plug prematurely.

I was never classed as high risk due to my age, we actually had this same discussion a few months back and I guess some hospitals class you as such and some don't.

Ive had lots of scans due to my history and being classed as high risk, i have had one every 3ish weeks from week 6 to week 24 and now im having them every 4ish weeks.

I have had an early scan due to previous misscarriage, and then the dating scan at twelve weeks, sexing scan and to check growth at twenty weeks, and i am seventeen i have not been told i will need extra scan because of my age, but i will be having extra scans every three weeks because i am in a wheelchair and have a curved spine.
I guess it depends if there is anything to worry about if everything looks good and the growth is looking healthy, they probably dont see it as too nessersary.

I had a small one at my first appointment to see if they could see a heartbeat, but they couldn't yet. And that was around 5/6 weeks.

Then I had my dating scan with the heartbeat and stuff at 8 weeks 3 days.

Then another at 19 weeks for my anatomy scan

i had 5 scans but didnt have my first one til 24 weeks (because i was in denial bout the pregnancy) but i think thats because my bump measured up small all the time.

Yeah, I remember this discussion before. I had alot of scans, say around 20? Only due to a virus I caught and Kyle becomming unwell from it.

Ive had 4 so far one at 9 weeks, 12 weeks, 20 weeks and 28 weeks. This is mainly due to the fact wen i was 9 weeks they thought i was 12 weeks so had to go back at 12 weeks. then the 28 weeks scan is due to the study im taking part called pregnancy prediction study being carried out by university of cambridge as im at addenbrookes hospital, the rosie maternity hospital in cambridge. But i was also choosen because im on med. I have one more scan at 36 weeks.

ive had many due to my previous history

if i remember rightly at 5,6,9,12,15,17,20,24,26,27,30,32 weeks and one booked for 33 weeks so far!

think will be scanning me each week now until she is here.. its lovely to see her so often but granted would rather of been low risk and just get the 2 regular ones...

I had 6, one at 10, 12, 13, 19, 34 and 40wks

10 was to check baby was there as were putting me on meds, 12 i was bleeding, 13 was the regular scan, as was 19, 34 was as i was consultant lead care, and 40 was because the doppler thing wasnt working properly so they gave me a quick once over!!
