Morning sickness = girl/boy

Someone at the weekend told me:

Morning sickness (bad/early in pregnancy) = girl
No morning sickness (or not quite so severe) = boy

So, to anyone who knows what they're having, or already has children, can you prove this theory right or wrong please? (Preferably wrong!!)

I had no sickness all through 1st tri with my son, had a very little towards the start of 2nd tri.

With my daughter I was sick throughout 1st tri (but never actually sick)

and this time no sickness again so definately thinking boy!!

Definately works for us!x

I had no sickness with my first and he was a boy - i was really sick with this bump so will let you know when we find out the sex in 3 weeks x

It was wrong for me. I've had two girls, I only had a tiny amount of morning sickness with my first and none with my second. With this one I've had terrible morning sickness though, will find out the sex next week.

I had some nausea but was never really sick, I had a boy.

But my friend had severe morning sickness from 5-17 weeks - she also had a boy.

This is just another old wives tale lol, may be true for some people but I wouldn't paint the nursery based on the results xxx

completely wrong for me, I had not a second of morning sickness and I am having a girl.

Ive had bad morning sickness and still am now occaisionally at 21 weeks and i am having a boy.
Everyone managed to convonce me it was a girl due to this old wives tale!

So i wouldnt believe it if i was you! Good Luck xx

This is my third pregnancy and the morning sickness started before I missed my period each time and with my first two it never went away. I'm 21 weeks now and I'm still suffering so think this one is going to be exactly the same.

The first two were boys and this is a girl!! X

With my girls barely any MS and this one has been rough nausea but only a tad bit of hugging the loo and everyone is saying boy. My mom told me the other day for her that with me and my 2 sisters no MS and with my brother really bad she actually spent time in the hospital.

I am now 32 weeks and havent had any MS at all and got told at 18wks (private scan) and 21 weeks that we are having a boy so ive proved the theory correct!

Hmm I dont think things like this are true. I had bad sickness with baby 1- girl. Mild sickness baby 2- girl. No sickness, only feeling sick with this baby... havent found out sex yet though. Got to wait til Thursday..argghhh x

A little bit of nausea, no vomiting, all lasted 2 maybe 3 weeks. No appetite at all during first trimester, now eating a lot's of cheese, salty and greasy stuff not so crazy about sweets (and I used to be a chocoholic) and I'm having a boy.
