I don't actually believe in any of the old wives tales -- I know every pregnancy is different, but I'm interested in others experiences.

I had moderate morning sickness with my 2 girls, but this pregnancy it was so bad I was diagnosed with HG. Everyone is saying it's a boy, and a lot of people have said they were most sick with their boy pregnancies vs girls.

Any experience with that? We don't find out the gender until Christmas!

I wasn't sick even once with my first son. With my second son, I was violently sick until 22 weeks. Everyone thought he was a girl, and were so shocked when we found out he was another sweet boy! So it didn't mean anything for me!

There is no truth to it at all. I had a little with DS1 but nothing unmanageable. It was enough to put me off wanting to eat though. I had nausea so bad with DS2 I felt like I'd been hit by a fully loaded freight train - I hurt all over because of the vomiting I was actually in tears the majority of the first trimester. DS3 I had the none at all and thought we were having a girl.

Two of my friends and my sister all had two completely different pregnancies, in terms of sickness, weight gain, cravings, skin and all sorts, and thought they were having the other gender but had the same! (My sister two boys, both my friends two girls) I don't think there's anything in it, I think it's just different hormone levels from pregnancy to pregnancy
:flower:

Ok that's what I thought! I am sort of leaning towards wanting a girl simply for the fact of not buying all new clothing. But am happy with a boy because we've never done that before lol!!

Ds1 - mild nausea for 2 weeks maybe
Ds2 - hospitalised with HG
DD - medium nausea and gagging..

I couldnt of predicted any of the genders!

I didn't have it particularly bad in any pregnancy, but out of the two it was worse with my girl.

Not for me. My first was a boy and I had normal levels of sickness/nausea. My girl it was a lot worse but manageable. My third was a boy and I had hypermesis....so odd. This one I've been pretty sick so far. I don't personally believe it correlates.

From what I've been told, developing HG with subsequent pregnancies when you haven't had it previously is really rare! But the same happened with me! Such a shock since I was expecting the same levels of ms as precious pregnancies. So hard to cope with older kids running around too.

I had HG with both pregnancies and still having mild off and on nausea with this one. Both are boys!

I have 4 boys and wasn’t sick once in any of there pregnancies? I always thought if you sick it’s a girl 🤔

I was the same amount of sick feeling this time around with this girl as I was with my daughter ... with my twin boys I was never that kind of sick just more aversions/cravings but not actually pukey feeling

I also experience severe morning sickness when I was pregnant with my son, I can't eat because whatever i take I would vomit.

I'm the same way. Granted, my sickness has been a bit worse with each pregnancy, but with my girls it was much milder. I didn't throw up once with them. Now with my boys I was diagnosed with HG. The difference was that I was stupidly unwilling to take the meds prescribed to me by my doctor with DS1 so I remember an almost nightmarish pregnancy with him. With DS2 I did take the meds and didn't throw up at all but I was still nauseated like hell.

Didn't have any MS with my son. Second pregnancy been feeling nauseous on a daily basis since day one (still am now) and it's def a girl :)

I’m having a girl... I haven’t vomited once.. I only had motion sickness in cars etc. And I went completely off food! Also my skin cleared up! I had cystic acne and pregnancy has temporary cleared I‎t hence why I thought I was having a boy !!! Xxxx
