So me and OH just went to Mothercare to have a mooch round, and we had a razz round with this pushchair.... it seems perfect, it comes with car seat, carry cot, footmuff, parasol and has a "one-handed" collapse system, which was basically pressing a button and it just folded up!

It also has a temperature gauge and a clock on the handlebars, and cup holders (which OH said loudly "Oh you could put your wine glass in there!!" LOL)

The only thing is DIDNT come with was a rain cover, but they are only £30 and also Mothercare are having a sale, for every £100 spent you get £20 off.....

So the pushchair is £280, (£310 with the rain cover) which would mean we would get £60 off!) so really it would only cost £250....

Now I was made up when we left and I said I def wanted it, but after reading some reviews I am not 100%.... but for the price and what you get, is it worth getting??

Has anyone else had this or know anyone who has, and what are your verdicts?

Thanks ladies!! :flower: xx

We looked at the Trenton first we also looked at one similar in babies r us: https://www.toysrus.co.uk/Babies-R-...-Tour-Sport-Travel-System-Super-Nova(0084307)

It's similar to Mothercare's trenton with one hand collapse system and cup holders, temperature and time and other handy things such as a drop down basket underneath (which can be accessed whilst pushchair in lie flat position without disturbing baby) and closed compartments to put wipes, sunglasses, phone, keys etc in. It comes with car seat and a car seat base which normally costs £30-£40 to buy. It also comes with a free accessory pack they claim to be worth £100 which consists of raincover, footmuff and changing bag. The only thing missing is a carry cot but you can buy one for it at £30. We went for this one in the end over the Trenton but I don't think there is much in it. Haven't had chance to read reviews for either so not sure which one comes off best but thought you might like to compare the two.

Hope this helps.

Hiya.. this is my pram/puschair :) haven't used it yet as waiting for baby to come out... the main reason I got it is because the seat goes right back so u can put the carry thingy on so its like a pram.. good luck :) x

i had the trenton with zane and its a great pram!
mine came with 2 cup holders attached to it either side of the clock
zane wasnt a fan on lying down so we used the carseat on the pram and he loved it, he then went into facing forward from 5 months, he had enough support.
the shopping basket can fit alot in.
when we had very bad snow last year i was able to walk thru it with zane no problem.

the only reason im not using it again with baby 2 almost 3 yrs on is because weve moved around so much its taken a beating

Excellent, thanks for all your responses! I think we will go for it, I am one of those people who change my mind too much if given too many options! LOL So I dont want to really go out and try out too many, else I will just confuse myself.

Most of the reviews were going on about it being bulky when folded, but the guy in the shop folded it for me and it didnt look big to me?? I think some people are just not happy with what they get.... we went on holiday last year and it was amazing, and people still put bad reviews about the hotel etc and I think I should stop reading these and just decide for myself LOL

Thanks very much for your replies xxx

it is bulky when folded but most decent prams are, and u get alot for ur money with the trenton. it fit in our boot just fine altho we do have a big car so maybe messure it when folded and then messure ur boot.
i got a slimmer pram this time around and im not as impressed with it as i was with the trenton.
i loved that i could just get the pram down with one hand, u have to practise afew times tho lol and also its very easy to steer one handed for those horrible days u need one hand free for a umbrella

Hi, yes this one does look very similar to the Trenton! I am not too fussed about a carrycot to be honest, so might pop to Babies R us to have a look before I make my (FINAL!) final decision! LOL

I think I may have to go in secret though.... OH is getting fed up with me because I keep changing my mind so much!! :dohh:

Men just dont get it do they!? xx

Yeah I thought this too..... if it wasnt bulky, it would probably be accused of being too flimsy! We are in the process of buying a new car, so I have told OH he can have any car he wants... so long as it has a big boot!

Yeah the one handed fold was excellent, I was very impressed with that!!

(Fab avatar pic by the way!) x

Lol men don't understand.. at the end of the day the pram/pushchair is a big purchase & not cheap! Have fun lol Xx

Thanks, good luck, you are very near the finishing line!xx

We spent nearly 2 hours in babies r us trying them all out and changed our minds so many times. Think OH was getting very fed up until I reminded him if anybody should be feeling fed up it should be the parent with the bump who was starting to feel exhausted, really needed the loo and had back ache. That soon shut him up :haha:

Just been trying to compare them both, think the babies r us one is slightly lighter too which must be a bonus but I think either one will be a great purchase, good luck.

i knew i wanted the trenton soon as i got my bfp lol

Ha ha I dont think that would work with mine! LOL I think he would just tell me to stop moaning ha ha.

I would love to have thousands to spend on a pushchair, but it is a gift from my Mum and she said her budget is £300, which is fine, and of course we are extremely grateful she is offering to buy it, as it is one of the biggest purchases, and we are trying to buy a new car and will be moving house soon too!

So to have found this one with so many features for under £300 is a bonus! I havent seen another with everything for that price? xx

I'm very surprised with how much moaning my OH has let me get away with through this pregnancy. Normally he complains I am the moaniest person he knows but can't recall him saying that since before we got our BFP! I really don't understand men sometimes!

I havent been too bad.... OH says I am a hypochondriac (only because he is NEVER ill, I just get the normal amount of colds/headaches etc) so he said I would be a nightmare when we found out..... but I have been very good!

I think I will use it more towards the end though... dont want to milk it too much just yet LOL x

Hi, just to let u know that the trenton & the pram in babies r us, are the same pram made by graco, its just exclusive colours with Mothercare :)

So I have just ordered my travel system using the Babyplan from Mothercare (sooo glad I heard about this, its a godsend!) but the Trenton Deluxe wasnt on the items for the Babyplan, so we have ordered the Curv Stroller instead, which is exactly the same as the Trenton only doesnt have a carrycot... and its about £40 cheaper! Bonus!

We have also ordered the cotbed and also a mattress (which was almost as much as the cot!) so well pleased now, as OH was starting to panic that we didnt have anything big bought!

So cannot wait to get it all now, although my Mum isnt allowed to know we are getting the pram delivered, as she thinks its bad luck! :shhh: but surely 10 days before baby comes isnt too bad? How much trouble can I get into in 10 days?! LOL x

I liked this travel system too but I'm going for the Graco Quattro one because it's 4kg lighter but identical in every other way. It doesn't come with the foot-muff or changing bag but I think the lighter weight will make a bigger difference to me.
I thought the mothercare one was a bit too heavy for me lifting in and out of my car boot.

Yeah alot of people have said about the weight of the pram, but I am not too fussed about that.... well, i say that now!! LOL x
