Hi there,
I am 35 weeks pregnant and few weeks ago I noticed a tiny blood blister on the side of my tongue, in the back. I've seen both my dentist and my MD and they both said it's nothing to worry about, it may be caused by the pregnancy increased blood flow and it'll most probably go away or at least improve after the delivery of the baby. My doc said blood blisters are common in pregnancy both on the skin or mouth, and the truth is I had one on my cheek when I was pregnant with my first son four years ago, pretty much similar with what I have now, and it never went away just got improved, so I hope it's normal. My question is: did any of you have or hear of mouth blood blisters as being normal during pregnancy? I guess I sometimes worry too much about things like that. Thanks a lot.
