I have an anterior placenta so I don't feel movement all the time anyway but he seems to have been really quiet the past couple of days. He'll have spurts of movement and then stop but he's not really moved at all today, I've had a couple of nudges here and there and on and off:nope:

I rang my hospital and they said as I'm only 25 weeks they won't monitor him but just check his heartbeat:growlmad::cry: I said he moved just before I rang so she said well then there's not really anything we can do as you're not 26 weeks yet. Surely since we're past viability they'd check?

I'm so upset and angry that they won't do anything to check on my son, and when I told her I'd been having less movement over the past couple of days which he does sometimes but he'd been particularly quiet today so I was worried and she just said "so why are you ringing now?" As if to say why am I bothering:nope:

I would follow up with your doctor or midwife if you're not getting answers from the hospital.

I had a day like this, they told me to drink a really cold drink & then lay on my left hand side for 2hrs. Bingo! It worked :D hope everything is ok hun xx

i have anterior also , and man she has been moving like crazy, but last few days only a few times a day, i think its noirmal because still alot of room to move, and still small

**waves* Hiya, I'm in Cheshire, and Macclesfield Hospital are the same, will only listen to HB on Doppler up to 26 weeks... which seems nuts as Viability is 24!!?

I've an anterior placenta too, and only really feel movements low down, and high up, nothing much in the middle... Although I can hear him kick on the Doppler... but I don't feel it.

Its a pile of poop isn't it.. I've been worried a few times, and doppled myself, and just had to grit my teeth till I feel it move again. Just another week to get thru chick, then you can get yourself properly checked out if your worried
xxx
