for the last day or so i have had these like little prods in my belly they dont happen that often but are noticable. It might sound like a silly question but is this baby moving i thought it was meant to feel like flutters and it doesnt feel like that

quite possible. If it doesnt feel like something you've experienced before it probs was. Its unexplainable... Mine was pretty noticeable by then

congrats on feelin your baby move!!!

xx

thanks hun its deffo noticable but so hard to explain what it feels like suppose its like little pulses every now and then

you'll become more familiar with it over the next few weeks... it certainly brings a smile to your face

I´ve been feeling things like that too. I was a bit confused cos everyone says it feels like butterflies or bubbles popping - but like you, I can only describe mine as little prods or pokes, usually just under one side of my belly button. The side changes though as well. I had them for a few days last week and have not really noticed them since.

I thought I was too early for movement, but who knows!!??

they say you can feel movement from 17 weeks even sooner if it isnt your first baby

I'm 13 weeks. Yesterday I was lying in bed, perfectly still, and I could feel what I can only describe as muscle spasms/ripples down the side of my tum.

I know it wasn't my bowls or food digesting, and it didn't feel like butterflies or flutters. I'm sure it was my buba! I'll have to lie still again later today, to see if I can feel any more - was very exciting tho - do you think it was my buba?

I felt my first proper kicks at 19 weeks and they were quite strong so at 18 weeks you could be feeling something stronger than just flutters. Woo Hoo!!
