Moving formula, aptamil to hipp

We've made the switch too. It's a shame about not bring able to make in advance, though.

I premade Aptamil night feeds, and just got them from the fridge, where I am going to have to make these up (as you can't have made up bottles over 2 hours).

But you can store cooled boiled water in sterile bottles and then when baby needs a feed just add powder, shake and go! xx

as skunkpixie said, also if you have a powder dispenser measure out your scoops (I add LO's gaviscon too), so its just a case of heat up, pour in and shake :)

I used to be so particular about heating by standing bottle in water but now we microwave and shake really really well. its so much faster!

Have also ordered some mam bottles to try as LO is such a guzzler she makes alot of noise and its like a vaccuum when she is feeding! looking forward to seeing if they help, however understand they arent so good for standing in water !

anyhoo, sorry for the distraction, we changed to hipp and noticed a great help in her BM's, and less gas. she has the odd firm green poo but thats down to the gaviscon, her poops are closer to breastfed ones than on any other milk !!

We have had success with Hipp - we have managed to poo 3 times this week, which is better than less than once a week (went 8 days before).

I have managed to get in to a routine for night too - just as shineystar suggested. Bottle warmer to warm up pre boiled water, then powder from a dispenser (BiBi one is very good).

Thanks for the advice.

oo i hadnt seen the bibi one before, iv just bought one on amazon, the boots one i have is so chunky!!
