Moving to USA or OZ

I wonder if anyone can help me or has done this before, we have been to a convention about moving to Australia in manchester, but i was wondering if any ladies out there have moved abroad and if they had any advice.

We are not looking to move in the near future but definatley considering it, my sister in law who lives in the UK is from california and they are of back to california house hunting at christmas so we are also considering this to keep family together.

-where to go
- what was it like moving

i was living in Oz for a year(working holiday visa)and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!I would go bk there if i could in instant!!!!!!but i met my OH and he is from US but living in Uk we were living in Usa for almost 2 years and is expensive medical bills was killing us my LO had ear infection bill was $1200 for 1 consultation and 1 antibiotic.its totally up to u but i would consider Oz.you have to know that wherever u choice will be US or OZ u need visa and thats pain in the butt.

I lived and worked in the USA for 8 years and loved it. I have never been to Australia so I cannot say much about it. If you are planning to live in the US you will need a work permit.
