MRI scan?

Just wondering if anyone has had an MRI scan, if so what wasit likee? I'm having one Wednesday and I'm terrified I've been reading allsorts on the internet and it sounds awful! X

Its a bit disorientating and loud but not bad at all

I've had one and yes, it was just a bit loud. But they told me I could bring my iPod and so I put an audio book on it, knowing it was going to be a while. That helped a lot. A friend who is claustrophobic said she took an anti-anxiety pill before hers but she's the only person I know who had a real problem with it.

Hardest thing was not fidgeting

You cant have anything metal on you.
I wore a belvia elastic bra. jumper n leggings so i wouldnt have to wear a gown

No bobbles or pins in ur hair
Remove glasses /contact lens
Dobt wear makeup as some have trace metals in

But honestly just lie there count sheep and itll be over .
