Mucus plug and dull cramps

Hello everyone

I'm 39+5 and since yesterday I've been loosing my plug bit by bit... I have light cramping in my belly and back... I'm cleaning my house every single morning that's already clean. I'm getting really impatient and just want to meet him! It's been 4 years since TTC and I just want to meet my little man!

My mucus isn't tinged with blood like most people say happens? Does that mean it's not my plug? How longggggg

It sounds like the beginning of it. I've been having the same today. It should eventually go bloody though

Definatley sounds like the start of things! when I was pg with my ds mine started coming away in the morning with cramps, by evening it was more bloody and contractions started. Good luck!

Well I haven't had any more plug since this morning! I've napped today which is unlike me but other than that and a few dull period pains I feel normal... Gutted I thought it was the start x

Sounds like the start of things!

I was having dull aches and cramps whilst losing mucus plug in huge amounts! My waters ended up breaking that evening x

Sorry for hijacking but how big is your plug supposed to be? I lost about a quarter size or so a few hours ago and it had Blood. I looked it up and everyone says something different. I'm only36+ 1 so it probably doesn't mean anything for me. Sounds good and promising for you though!!

You can lose bits of plug for weeks before going into labour... It's the most annoying thing ever when you just want to meet your baby. Your 'show' is usually the blood tinged mucus that signals labour xx

It definitely sounds like your body is getting ready! Losing plug (especially without blood in it) isn't a sign of imminent labor unfortunately. But between the light cramping and plug loss your cervix is probably progressing even if it's not quite ready to evict baby yet.
