Multiple c section gestation

Hi ladies!


What gestation did you have your c sections ?? Does it get earlier the more you have had ?
My first section was 32 weeks ( triplets ) second was 38+2 for a singleton.

We are hoping to finish off with baby number 5 but the dr has already said c section would be better due to scar tissue that I have there. Has anyone had 3 sections? Did you go to full term with them all ?

I'm on baby 7 (2 previous emergency section) and told unless there is any other complications it will be at 39 weeks, I'm in the UK x

I’ve had 3 csections, cautiously pregnant now which will be my 4th csection. With my 3rd she was born at 39 weeks.

I'll be having my 7th section in August. Mine went like this...

Baby 1- 42 weeks (emergency and induction)
Baby 2- 39 weeks (planned)
Baby 3- 38 weeks (planned for 39 but had contractions early)
Baby 4- 35 weeks (planned for 39 but she was coming early)
Baby 5- 38 weeks (planned)
Baby 6- 37.5 weeks (planned. They initially wanted 36 weeks and I refused so we booked for 39 weeks but was in labour for 2 weeks so agreed to go early and good thing and my uterus had started splitting)

I'm in the UK. They generally book planned sections in the 39th week and there is a good reason for that. Lung development is vital in the last few weeks and a nicu stay is horrendous for everyone. They do recommend steroids if before 39 weeks at my hospital here but that could differ from area to area. I'm going to request 39 weeks for this baby unless I labour early or any other complications. Much love x
