Do you find some days better than others? I have found the last week or so Ethan has been alot better then yesterday and today have been awful, he has been bringing up his milk for a good couple of hours after his feeds, just seen a puddle of milk on the floor beside his bouncy chair, he must have projectile vomited to hit that spot!! Arrggg, just when I think It's getting better. I know this is normal for reflux babies but I can't help but panic when I see how much he brings up some days.

I'd be grateful for any input

It definitely changes from day to day. sometimes I think things are really improving and she only brings up a few mouthfuls for 2 or 3 days at a time, then she suddenly has 2 or 3 days of milk rivers flowing down her all day!

Not quite sure what changes though as she feeds the same each day and does roughly the same things each day.

I'm so used to her puking now that I find it strange to have a dry muslin after a feed! lol

Ellis constantly changes every day is different hun, yesterday we had nothing...not one spot of reflux and today/tonight theres been loads and hes gone to bed in his THIRD set of jammas.

xx

yes defintely, and its a million time worse if he gets a temperature, a cold, anything!

Oh yes. Last week he went two days! with no spit up whatsoever, and then the next morning projectile vomited his first feed. Unfortunately that set the tone for the whole day.

I went through it with my twins, yes it varies, but in the end after trying different remedies we succeeded to reduce it greatly by using a combination of sma LF and gaviscon powder added to feed both on prescription and Dr brown's bottles. All the best x

Hi
can I ask if any of you had a problem with weight gain due to
the reflux?
Thanks

Same here some days are great and some are bad :(
have you changed the way treat baby after feeds and around the house etc?
Try and feed as upright as possible and burp regularly during feeds. Keep baby upright for at least 15mins after each feed. Prop up the head of the crib slightly so baby isn't lying flat when sleeping and we done the same with our change mat. I tell people to not hold her flat either and this all seems to help.
Oh and the gaviscon too
xx

They were born 9 weeks early and at home 3 weeks later. Weight gain was fine and they were bad with it. It didn't harm their development. They are 6 yrs now and incredible. No growth probs at al. X hope it offers some reassurance. X

Awww bless him, i feel your pain :(
