Hi,
My son is in his own room now in his cot, he has been for 7 months and has always slept through. The last 4 or 5 weeks he has woken up after he has been in bed for an hour or two and then he's awake for hours. Last night he woke at 11 and was up until 4:30. He doesn't want more milk, he's just wide awake! It did coincide with a leap at first but it's been 3 weeks since that was 'supposed' to end.
I've tried bringing him into our bed but he's always hated being in there for some reason
He screams as soon as I put him in with us. I've rocked for hours, i've sang to him, i've fed him, i've tried extra naps, i've tried less naps, i've tried putting him to bed later and earlier... and yet he still won't sleep.
Does anyone have any advice on how I can help him sleep? We are all so exhausted from only 3 or 4 hours max sleep for 5 weeks. Also, what could be causing this? As I say, he's always slept through for at least 12 hours since he was 7 months.
