My antennatal class...

Im having a one on one antennatal class this thurs and i was just wondering what to expect...what kind of things will they go into or what will i have to do etc?

i wont have to like practice breathing and get into labouring positions will i? my exs sister and my friend whos my birthing partner is comming along for it and would rather not be getting on all fours in front of them lol

Well my class tonight is "coping with labour" so i will let you know what embarrassing things we have to do! I would imagine there'll be lots of breathing tho, we did a bit of that at the introduction class last wk! x

i really dont see the point of the whole breathing thing... giving birth is a case of listning to your body and doing it that way... its like telling someone to put one foot in front of another to walk... lol i know you have to breath short breaths to stop baby flying out to fast and tearing and deep breaths after each contraction and push ... ill be that high as a kite when im there i wont care lol!!!... and as for birthing position its on my back sat up a little and OUT HE BETTER COME lol
