My baby boy, A week old today <3

Hi guys, never thought i'd be the one to leave it so late to do a birth anouncement on here, but I guess it has been one hell of a busy week !

I went in to hospital on the 14th of April ( A week ago today ) for an elective C-section as my baby boy was breech and I chose not to have him turned. It was a long long day waiting to have it done as I was at the end of list, but it went as smoothly as it could have and my lovely little boy Leo Joseph Ramejkis-Robinson was born at 15:48 14/04/2011 weighing spot on 7LB which is what I had predicted !

The first evening was lovely and breastfeeding was so easy for us, but just like the midwives tell you not to, I stayed up all night watching him instead of resting and the 2nd night was a nightmare, I ended up having him put on formula ! I was home 2 days after my section as I was healing well and baby was fine, & I decided to try to breastfeed again... So far it is going incredibly well but it is SUCH hard work and my arms ache Haha.

Congrats! I've been trying to find your birth announcement!

Our boys have the same birthday but Leo is a couple of hrs older lol glad your c-section went well! I didn't sleep well either so I was suffering the next night! I'm expressing now so the night shifts can be shared but it's not happened yet!
