Hey everyone! I haven't posted here in a while. Well, I gave birth to my healthy baby boy, Nathan on November 26th. He weighted 7lb 15oz. He is 3 weeks today! Time sure does fly by pretty fast!
My labour & delivery story:
On November 25th around like 7pm, I started getting contractions. At first it came then went away (about 15 mins apart, forgot how long it lasted though). I thought it was just Braxton Hicks. Then around 8pm I went to go eat dinner, it had gotten worse, I didn't even have an appetite to eat but I forced myself to eat a little bit. The contractions were much regular. I waited 2 hours before I decided to go to the hospital. In the mean time I went for a walk, I tried to take a nap, but it still wouldn't go away. That's when I knew... It's Time!! When I got to the hospital I had to wait a bit for a doctor to come see me. About 11:30/12 I was already 5cm dilated. I had to wait until 1ish to get into a labour&delivery room. My plan was to have a full on natural birth, but I honestly couldn't take the pain so I opted for the epidural. And honestly I'm glad I made that choice, because I got to get some rest so I could actually push out the baby. Around 7am that's when I got the "okay" from the doctor that I could start pushing. I'm surprised how fast he actually came out, I thought it would take me hours lol!
