My son who is due Oct. 21st finally flipped thank God. I was doing exercises to flip him such as lying on the ground and lifting my pelvis in the air. We also used moxy sticks which are little incense type sticks that you burn and they produce heat and you put them near your pinky toes and apparently this is supposed to work...it is like an acupuncture technique. But something worked!

Thank goodness!!! My friend's baby never flipped, and she ended up needing a C-section... Now tell him you're taking away his allowance unless he stays there! lol

mine's already 'flipped' or as doctors say engaged :) And I'm due 3rd of Jan :))

My boy was in n out of bein engaged since 30 weeks lol even attempted goin breech 1 day before he was due, altho didnt work, try and keep him there lol

Altho shouldnt you be postin this in 3rd tri??

Call me suspicious but sounds a bit like an ad! Especially goig by the name! Apologies if not!

Me too Sam182, I sniffed loads of odd threads out in first Tri, thought id seem the last of them lol.

An ad? As in advert? Do people really do that? Strange lol :haha: xxxx

hmm looking at it now i think your right? an ad for those incense sticks maybe, it's a bit odd regarding the name and the fact she should have posted in third trimester, and a new member? weird

Lol it can be an ad if you want! I am a real mom, but also trying to start a business to help with money. I sell hospital bags to expecting mothers. Hence why my name is MamaLaborKits. Sorry didn't mean to be a spammer! lol But anyway yea my son flipped (which means he is head down) and Mommy will not need a C-section hopefully! Although he can flip back over again :/. But as they keep getting bigger and bigger it is harder for them to flip because there is less room in there.

ohh mine is still breech how late can it be when they turn by themselves and do you always have to get a section if they stay breech its really worrying me for some reason even although everyone keeps saying it will be fine xx

How far along are you? Don't worry there are plenty of methods you can use to try to flip your baby. If the baby does not flip then your doctors may try to use their method of flipping in which they go inside and manually do it. Usually they say if this doesn't work then a scheduled C-section would be required. I would definitely go with doing your own exercises first, but don't go too crazy with them because in some occasions the cord could get wrapped around their neck.

The baby could turn around at the very last second, technically. It's harder for them to turn once they get close to due date, but my friend was hoping for her baby to turn in the last week. Her baby didn't engage, but there was a definite possibility there. She had a scheduled c-section due to the baby's position.
