Just a note its not a simple birth just to let you know!
I started having contractions but they wasn't strong enough or frequent enough, slept that night then the next day they carried on. I went to hospital 3 mins apart 6pm and was 4cm dilated, well I stayed at 4cm until 9am the following day!
I was given an epidural which didn't work even after tweeking, so had to be re-done....not a nice feeling but the staff were brill. The midwife broke my waters to speed things up and baby poo'd inside me, still nothing so I was given the induction drip to speed things up (I was in strong labour this whole time!)
Finaly I reached 10cm and pushed....and pushed.....and pushed.... 2 hours later the midwife said we need to take you to theater for forceps delivery! If that doesn't work the c-section.
I had the forceps, I felt very uncomfortable and pressure but no pain, within 3 pushes she was out! Finaly they put my beautiful little girl in my arms at just 6lbs.
I didn't scream once through labour but sobbed twice to dh hehe, recovery staff were horrid but midwifes and doctors couldn't fault them at all.
This is my first baby and she is amazing![Smile :) :)](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
