at 9:30 pm I got a very sharp pain down below it was so painful that it stopped me dead in my tracks a few times then they went away and I forgot all about it
so that night I went for a walk felt fine, no pains or anything so I went to sleep I woke up at 2:30 with a contraction ( my contractions feel nothing like period pain) they kept coming and coming 2-3 mins apart I noticed a little bloody show so I called my ride and off I went to the hospital
4:00 am the contractions got less painful but were still coming in at 2-3 mins apart they checked me and I was only 3 cm dilated. The nurse rang my DR and told me I was going to have my baby today!
They started the iv and gave me a pain medication through the iv whatever it was it made me dizzy and made me feel kinda silly I wanted to talk and talk The contractions were getting worse they started me on "picotin " to speed up my labor now the pain really got bad! I was begging for an epidural.
So my DR came in and broke my waters its was painful he used a plastic object and it felt warm and runny the contractions were getting really painful !!!
Finally the epidural lady came my worst fear was having a contraction while she was putting in the epidural and me moving so I asked her what should I do if Im having a contraction while your putting it in ,she said you just have to sit through it .....so she started putting in the epidural it felt like a tiny pinch and it was over in less then 2 mins very easy ...
the epidural was bliss ! no more pain thank god! my left side was more numb then my right but it didnt matter because there was no pain at all. Then the catheter got put it I was so scared of that but becuse of the epidural ..I literally didnt feel anything it was over in less then 30 seconds but I didnt feel a thing
I threw up about 3 times I was so hungry and thirsty but I couldnt have anything but ice chips
They checked my and yup I was 10 cms and ready to push at 4:30. This was the hardest part every time I would get a contraction they had to tell me because I couldnt feel anything so when i would get a contraction I had to hold my breath and push for ten seconds It was ALOT longer then 10 seconds I swear it was 30 I couldnt breath so I pushed and pushed holding my breath and then at 6:11 pm she was born ! I felt no pain just like something really big coming out of me ..then I could feel the placenta come out of me
As soon as I saw her I started crying hysterically I was so in love with her instantly! it was a beautiful amazing expierence it was all worth it
