Hi fellow moms,

I'm tired of hearing other people or relatives tell me that my baby is not chubby unlike ther babies. It made me then concerned if I am not feeding my 7 months old baby correctly.

Within 24 hours, my baby can finish around 720 ml, but won't reach 900 ml. His feeding schedule is as follows. We're not too strict about the time, but this is just our guide for intervals:

5:30 am - milk (180ml)
10:30 am - food + milk (180 ml) + vitamin #1
3:00 pm - food + milk (180 ml) + vitamin #2
7:45 pm - food + milk (180 ml) + vitamin #3
12:30 mn - milk (180 ml)

My baby skips 12:30 mn schedule most of the time, or could make it to half. I don't force feed if he's sleeping already. I pause feeding if he's about to gag or feeling full already.

What am I doing wrong? Please guide me. I'm a first time mom.

That sounds about the same amount of milk my 7.5 month old has and she is very chubby! You are not doing anything wrong. It just shows that babies come in different shapes and sizes just like adults.

Man people are so rude. Don't worry about it, you aren't doing anything wrong.

My friend and I had babies one month apart, mine was a total chubster all through infant-hood and hers was very skinny. They had nearly identical intake. Now at 2.5 years old they are about the same size and height.

The important things with babies is that you are getting regular nappies and they are happy and content.

Just ignore those people.
