Hello

My baby had breast milk till she was 2 and 1/2 weeks old and then I put her on aptamil formula milk she changed from breast to bottle really well.
From 13 weeks she started only taking 2 to 3 ozs from a 6 oz bottle, she feeds every 4 hrs. She has started waking up in the night again. I have tried everything to get her back on track. Taking her back down to 5 ozs, trying to get her to drink more during the day so she doesn't need to wake up for a feed in the night, reducing her milk in the night so she will eat more during the day.
Has anyone else been through this with their babies and what did you do?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Sleep regression? Harry went through his "4 month sleep regression" at about the same time. Lasted 3 weeks.

Harry has never followed the guidelines for how much he should be eating. He only takes 6oz once a day, the rest of his feeds (usually 3 hourly) are only 3-4oz usually. He does BF first thing in the morning and at bedtime and the last 3 nights has been sleeping 7.30pm-6.30am.

What teat size are you using? It could be that if the teat is too slow, she's getting tired trying to get the milk out which is why she's not taking more at each bottle.

Hello

I am currently using tommee tippee teat size 1, I did take her up to size 2 but she didn't get on with them and she got really bad wind.

What teat size are you using. I use avent bottles and teats and your LO at 13 wks should be on "no3". My little one took forever to feed also. I put her up a teat size to n3 at 12weeks and she drank it all . They get very tierd if the teat hole is too small and give up and fall asleep from trying to suck. I had the same problem as you.

Sorry I didn't think of teat sizes, we use the Variflow teats on the TTCTN bottles, Boots sell them.
