I was 5 days over due and woke up in the morning moaning because my pelvis hurt and my bump was massive.

Anyway I went back to sleep till 10 am then got up, M and Oliver had popped out somewhere. I did some tidying and got dressed. I had been talking to a friend about waitrose white chocolate ice cream the night before and I really fancied it, when I said really fancied it I mean all I could think about was this bloody ice cream.
I had some lunch and then I wanted M to take me to waitrose, he kept telling me to go on my own but I wouldn't. So off we went and I got my ice cream, came home and had a bowl and then almost instantly I got a pain in my stomach... all through pregnancy I had been sick from eating cream so I just assumed it was that. This was about 3/4.
I went up stairs to lay down as I was feeling tired and played on my phone. At 6 ish M cooked dinner and I said I didn't fancy it but he made it anyway and then I managed some. I got a really horrid pain through dinner but just thought it was a BH.
About 6.30/7 M put Oliver to bed and I thought I would try timing these pains as I had had a few. They were about 10 minutes apart. then they were gong 10,8,7,6 and I was joking because they were never 9 minutes. I kept saying to M I needed to phone CDS and he was saying nope you dont seem in pain... we had already had 2 false alarms. So then they slowed a bit and I thought they were stopping, about 8.30 I got a really long one that would not stop, and then nothing till 8.45 then I noticed they were 1 then 2 then 1 again but still not regular. I said to Martin at 9 I was phoning in, while on the phone the MW said to me... "you don't sound in pain" I explained about my last birth, very quick and I was silent in labour. She said maybe you should come down. my neighbour arrived to sit with Oliver at 9.20ish. We drove down, on the way there 10/15 minute trip I never have a contraction. I thought great its dying out. As we pulled up I went to M I am going straight up. Last time I sat and waited in the entrance... that is when he realised it might actually be labour.
I walked through the door and frog marched straight up the stairs, into triage where they made me sit and wait. Martin was parking the car and it was busy. I was sitting there talking to myself, people thought I was mad. I was going come on women. But still no pains. The MW went "NAME" I told her and she went to the other lady in labour "you ok?" other women went "yeah" she went to a lady on the bed... "Get off and sit over there" got me on the bed, went are you having a baby today... I went erm I hope so.
Then she went to examine me and had to do something else, then it was hand over. M was like calm down because I started to loose it. I remembered this point from last time. I turned round to him and went "Get her, his coming" he went don't be silly. MW heard me and came in. checked me and I went please say I am 4cm. she looked me in the face and went you 5-6 but very stretchy... I went I need to push. I had never jumped off a bed so quick.
They marched me to CDS and then couldn't find me a clean room as it was busy. I was just going give me gas and air, I need gas and air. They finally got me a room, which was triage but due to referb it was made in to a delivery room... the only one with a toilet. I said to M I need the loo. Jumped up and just sat on the toilet talking to him going nope cant move
MW came in and went your gas and air is ready, I jumped on the bed and went his coming. And started to push, the other MW came in and went ooo better put my gloves on. Then after 5 minutes in the room my waters went with a pop all over the mw. Then 21 minutes later he was born!
I had a 2nd degree tear, and a graze from him coming so fast. 20 stitches
which I can't feel
Henry was born at 10.31pm 29/07/13 5 days late. I was classed at in established labour for 1 hour. 5 minutes pushing him out and 11 minutes final stage. 6cm to pushing 10 minutes!! We went home at 2.30 after only being there from 9.30
If I had waited for my contractions to regulate he would have been born either at home or in the car. the only time they came regularly was when I was pushing him out. They even stopped as I got the urge to push!
We are all doing well, Oliver is loving being a big brother and Henry is so like him with feeding and sleeping its unbelievable. He has set himself in a 4/5 hour routine already![Cloud 9 :cloud9: :cloud9:](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/cloud9.gif)
