My baby's heart

Hi everyone, I originally posted this in 3rd tri:

But maybe this is a better place. I wanted to post for info for others, but guess I was hoping there would be someone who had a baby with the same/similar condition.

Im doing my best to keep positive, but it gets difficult sometimes!

i would just like to say good luck hun and do stay positive i know its easier said than done..i had to have a seperate heart scan for my little boy as he was laying weird in scan and i had been high risk for downs..

Hi,

I know its not the same condition but my LO was born with a large VSD (hole between the 2 ventricles) She had open heart surgery at 12 weeks old.

She is now nearly 9 months old and is doing just fine. we still have a lot of follow ups but all looks good for now. We had a tough few months but it was for the best in the long run.

I do hope all is well with your LO and that surgery is not needed, but its amazing what they can do. Babies are so tough too. Sophie has amazed me how she has recovered after all she has been through.
