My best friend finally got his paternity results back!

I may have mentioned this before on here, if not, one of my best guy friends might have a one year old daughter. Him and his ex had sex, then she got with this other guy and they had sex. Then she got pregnant. She tried saying it was the other guys, and a lot of us thought it was. But then she got with this guy, who's not really a guy (he's a pre-op female-to-male), and then they started telling everyone it was his. (rumor was he was on the bc, but I can't see how that's possible since he's a she)
ANYWAY, she's no good. She's on drugs and JUST got out of jail like last week. The baby, Elisea, ended up in foster care and that's when my friend was like "Okay, I'm going to get a paternity test. If she's mine, I'm taking her."
He's been waiting over a week for the results and he finally found out yesterday that SHE'S HIS!

So he started talking to the social worker about getting the papers in line to take custody of her. They were talking about it before they got the results back, and she said she'd fight like hell for him to get custody of her because it's not too often you see the "maybe-dad" come in and be as serious about it as he is.

I'm so happy for him! He's super excited as well. It's funny though, because we all knew she was his after she was born because she came out looking like a freaking clone of him!

Yeah I feel so bad for the baby though, having the go through all this shit. At least she'll end up with someone who can take care of her.

Yeah, I don't think the baby's mom is trying to fight him on it either, which makes it so much easier.
Talking to guys like him gives me hope that there are still good men out there.
