At 36+1 I was admitted to hospital following a routine check up at the gynae.....the ctg results were not looking good.....not enough movement was registering on the graph. I was sent to the hospital and they decided to keep me in. I was there for a week when I woke up in the middle of the night experiencing bad pains which I guess were contractions. I was hooked up to the monitor and they still didnt like the results so I was told it would be an emergency c section. The doctors and nurses were all fantastic and kind, but it was frightening none the less, more so as I am living in Germany and although I understand and speak a reasonable amount, there are times when you just want to hear people speak your own language. My daughter Zoe ended up in the neonatal unit unfortunately as she had a problem with low blood sugar...and she stayed in there for 5 days. Everything is all good now and worth every minute of pain and fear! She is beautiful and healthy https://babyandbump.momtastic.com/images/smilies/happydance2.gif
