Sorry I've taken so long to write this girls, been SOO busy recently but I've finally taken some time to write it as my baby girl is having a little nap.
So it all started on July 21st at around 01:15am I woke up and went to the toilet to find some of my mucus plus, didn't really think much of it as I've been told it could still be weeks after loosing my plug anyways, I got back to bed and started feeling a tightening pains so I just tried to sleep them off but couldn't! by this time OH woke up and I told him what had been happening and that I was STARVING so he went to MacDonalds to get me food
After I ate, I tried sleeping but kept being woken up by these pains so at around 7am I rang the labour ward and they asked me to go in and be checked as I've hardly felt baby moving. Got to the hospital and got monitors but they said everything was fine and that I should go home to get some rest but call up if anything changes.
At about 7:30pm I went to the toilet and on the pad there were pinky/clear stuff instead of the yellowy mucus that I kept having before so I rang the labour ward and said I think my waters have gone so they told me to come in to be check and to bring a bag so we rushed off to the hospital.
When I got to the hospital a midwife hooked me up to the monitors and said a doctor would come along to examine me but she doesn't think it is my waters, I was given gas and air as my contractions were getting really bad at this point, the doctor gave now and they midwife kept saying to him she doesn't think my waters have gone
anyways I was examine and I was 4-5cm dilated!!
I was asked if I wanted Pethidine as by this stage my contractions were killing!!
I asked if I could have it and still go in the birthing centre but they said no so I decided I'd see how I am in a few mins anyways I ended up not going in the birthing centre or taking the Pethidine!
Anyways after pushing for around 40mins with just gas and air my beautiful princess Rheniya Rose was born at 03:12am on July 22nd weighing 6pounds 8.
I was blessed with a healthy baby girl
