This wasn’t how I imagined it to be. This isn’t how I wanted it to be. My son was finally laid next to me and was comforted by the smell of me. He was peaceful. We were together at last.

I can relate to that feeling.....it's tough when things don't go like we planned. I've struggled with some tough feelings since my delivery last week taking into account how it went...but at least we have our healthy LOs.

Thanks Allie. I read your birth story and we certainly had similar issues. I found writing it down really helped. I still have 'issues' 4.5 months on but on the whole am over the depression now. And in fact, planning number 2!! xx
