Had my appointment today..had a procedure done where saline solution was inserted into my uterus and scans were done they tried to insert a cafiter but couldn't because my uterus is so retroverted:-( doc said its like an S shape falling in on itself.they need to do it again next month under sadation so looks like iui and ivf could be hard to perform..

I was the same way for my HSG, had to have it done under oral sedation and still somehow managed to hurt.

I told my husband I'm getting through IUI even if I have to down Advils, squeeze the blood out of his hands and scream bloody murder. Those docs better listen to me and shove those catheters in.

Think no pain, no gain. We're going to do it - there's some positive thinking for ya. :winkwink:

Don't worry about IVF etc just now, remember the use needles for it and do they not go directly through tummy to uterus??? Anyway, I'm sure they will do something for you. x
