Hi guys, Im wondering if anyone has gone through something similar and can shed some light on this...

This month I took 100mg of Clomid CD2-6 and 4mg of estradiol to help my lining. I went in for a scan on Saturday and I had a 16mm follicle and my lining was only 4.7mm so I decided to skip the trigger shot this time... Instead I chose to do OPKs so I can give my body the most time possible for the lining to grow.

I bought the OPK that measures "high fertility" and "fertility peak" so that I get a heads up in case they want to do a scan before... I got no positive results for Sunday or Monday... today I went in and my follicle disappeared! I'm waiting to hear from them about the bloodwork but the doctor was super puzzled... how can this happen? Can the follicle just die off and not ovulate?

This sucks!

I do not know at all. But, in my personal opinion I feel that yes, a follicle can die off if it didn't mature totally.

You should look into Maca Magic. I ovulate every month while I take it. It is a food that helps with fertility. Comes in a powder, pills, and tincture. Not sure how it will work with Clomid. Since it is a food free of hormones I would think it would be fine, but I do not know for sure.

What I do know, is I feel myself actually ovulate so there is no question. And, I have PCOS and never ovulate on my own, ever.
