Implantation spotting is probably one of the most searched topics during the TWW. Of course it is quite frustrating when you are limbo unsure whether its ugly AF or implantation. So, sorry for writing here, but I thought I'll describe my implantation experience.
I spotted once at 7DPO and then another one at 8DPO. Only a tiny speck of brownish blood/mucus on my liner, each time. It was definitely visible and hence I thought that I am out for this cycle. It was also accompanied by major period like cramps. In fact, cramps and backache which are very similar just before AF..
At 10DPO, I got my BFP!!
Btw, I did not have any sort spotting with DS.
