ive been taking coenzyme q10 the past couple of weeks in the hope that it will improve my egg quality, I have not been told i have bad egg quality but since my failed ivf where my eggs did not progress im giving this a try..has anyone else used it?


In a 2009 study published in The Journal of Fertility and Sterility, Bentov and his colleagues found that taking up to 600 milligrams a day of Co-enzyme Q10 -- which can be purchased at any drug store -- actually helped to improve egg quality in older women and improved fertilization rates.

“It may improve the quality of eggs by correcting their energy which improves the division of chromosome during fertilization,” Bentov claims.

I'm using it! This is my 1st full cycle on it. I'll let you know how it goes. I think it gives me a bit of an energy boost but could be in my head.

Been going a while. Its good for men to take too, dh been on 100mg for about 3 months now, apparently the higher dose the better, unfortunately my stomach hates it! I'm on my second try of trying to get my stomach used to it but I have had a badly upset stomach since starting again at only 30mg! Hoping it calms down soon!

It takes up to 3 months to start making any difference do try not to expect instant results.

Have you considered soya isoflavones too? Didn't work for me but worth a look for yourself if its egg quality xxx
