Obviously none of these are set in stone yet but i'd love for peoples opinions on our choices and why they do/don't like the names :) if you have the time of course ! Me and OH agree on pretty much all of them =D ! We have more but the list would be endless :P ! I will probably update at a later date :hugs: These are just some that I had at the top of my head

Please note - I haven't chosen these names because the sole reason I think they are "different" and want my girl to have a "different" name to her peers or to "stand out" I simply chose them because I like them and am not really a huge fan of everyday names  If I liked the name "sarah" or "jane" or "katie" I would add them to this list but its just a simple fact that I'm not keen on any other names really! But if she comes out looking like a Aimee than by all means she shall be an Aimee iykwim!! :)

Baby will be taking OH's second name so bear that in mind too :)
His surname is Reader

Aome (Pro- Like Naomi but I-o-me) Apple Of My Eye =) !

Blossom

Inndia

Ivy

Jessamine - Although my name is Jessica so we think this is a no-go :( !

Jazmine

Natalya

Poppy

Tiger-Lily

Sequoia (Pro- Se-koi-yah - Sekoya)

Summer

BTW - I'm not looking for comments like - "She'll get bullied if you call her so-and-so" At the end of the day a name is a name and if children (or adults!) are silly, petty, narrow-minded and cruel enough to ridicule someone about a name then they are not worth the time of day and I'm 100% sure my baby will make wonderful friends with people who couldn't really give a shit if her name was "Dog-turd" or "Sarah" =D !

:hugs:

Oooooh I like :)

4 of these were on my list...Blossom, Poppy, Jasmine and Summer!

Seems weird to call a kid Summer that was born in January - dunno but that was my reason for that one being crossed off.

Jasmine and Poppy are still contenders for me but I won't be choosing Blossom all though I think its a lovely name....really pretty!

I like Aome BUT I think you would have major spelling/pronunciation problems with that...which could possibly annoy your child when its older

How about the name Skye? Or Tulip? Bluebell? Ariel? All pretty names I think that kinda go with your theme.

Thanks for your kind comments =D ! I really love bluebell and thats also on our "extended" list hahaha ;)

Yeah I thought that about Aome but I guess onece you have been told once then its pretty hard to get wrong and it'd be an easy one to spell out to people haha! APPLE OF MY EYE =D !! xxxx

I like them all to be honest, but in particular my favorite is Inndia.

:happydance:

Thanks for everyones positive replies :) ! I know not everyone will like them but its nice to hear that people do ^_^

I'm not going to tell you that I like them all just to make you happy, that would be lieing. You asked for opinions, and I will give mine honestly. So, here ya go! ;)

Aome- I like the pronunication and the meaning (apple of my eye) is cute in theory. However, I dislike the spelling, I think it looks unappealing.

Blossom- Cute but everytime I hear this name I think of the tv show "Blossom" that was so popular in the '90s. It's a very strong association.

Inndia- This would be lovely if spelled India! It's an unusual name the way it is, so why make it even more uncommon by adding unnecessary letters? Changing the spellings of names just causes problems for the child/individual throughout their life. Having to constantly correct people or spell out your name gets old really fast!

Ivy- Loooooooooooooooooove this! :cloud9:

Jessamine - This is pretty but I think you're right, it's too close to your name Jessica. Maybe a good contender for a middle name?!

Jazmine- Nice name, doesn't wow me by any means but I have no strong feelings towards this one either way.

Natalya- I love this name, though I prefer it spelled Natalia. I'm not a huge fan of random "y"s but if you like it spelled this way, I won't fuss too much.

Poppy- I adore it! :cloud9:

Tiger-Lily- I love this, but it's more of a guilty pleasure that I would never actually use.

Sequoia- A sequoia is a really really big tree. I would hope and pray that a child with this name bestowed upon her was not large...because that would be awful and embarrassing :nope: Sorry, I don't like it at all.

Summer- Pretty, fresh and spunky! I also really like Autumn (something you may like?!)

Thankyou for the honesty :) I agree with you on Sequoia - but I don't think their is much chance of her being a big woman/girl :P I have very good genes in my family (petite and skinny haha!) and both me and OH are slight builds and have v good metabolisms ;) ! Also I chose that name because I love the tree and whenever I have seen one they make me feel very protected and enchanted :) and also because they are biiiig beautiful trees ^_^ ! Inndia - I added an N because I think it looks pretty and also I wanted to seperate the name from the country! As beautiful as it is of course I love both spelling variations though :) ! And Natalya - I chose the Y spelling as the other variation to me is too similar to natalie and like you not keen on y spellings but for some reason I just prefer it spelt like that :)!

Thanks for feedback :hugs: xX

I think you should rethink your choice of words here. I find it quite offensive to suggest that someone who's a bit chubbier doesn't pass on good genes. I pray to god that your child will never be chubby though. :nope:

Sorry hun I didn't mean to cause any offence! I don't see anything wrong with what i put personally - I'm not going to dress it down - We do have good figures and don't put on weight easily! And thats something I am proud of and extremly lucky to have passed onto me from my older generations! Besides this is a name topic not weight and I was justifying what Roo said about it would be a bad name for a big woman xxxx

i love aome my brother was going to name his daughter taome (the apple of my eye) :) (tay-o-mee)

Thankyou :hugs: everyone loves a good banter haha so don't take it to heart - I really don't think any of us should listen to a mardy pregnant women anyway as we all pretty much are here! wether it be you or me haha =D xxx :haha:

Aome - I'm 50/50 with this one, it's different which I love but not sure I'd use it, if someone told me their little girl was called this I wouldn't think OMG thats for sure!

Blossom - I do like this but more of a middle name I think, also like Petal.

Inndia - Not too keen on this, its quite popular.

Ivy - I LOVE LOVE this

Jessamine - I love this, it's my dogs name (sorry) although she's known as 'Jess' so probably too close to your name.

Jazmine - Very cute!

Natalya - Like this a lot, knew a Natalya who was stunning.

Poppy - I love this, it's very cute but it getting quite popular.

Tiger-Lily - I love this too but reminds me of Paula Yates.

Sequoia - Not keen sorry.

Summer - My 2nd favourite after Ivy, was on my list! Although not sure if it'd be a weird name to have for a child born in winter

You have chosen some beautiful names there!!
