My daughter just turned 3 months this week and has just sat up on her own 3 times. She's been laid on my lap or in the crook of my arm and she digs her elbows in until she manages to sit up. She's been trying to do it for a week or so but has actually done it. I didn't think they could this early? Has anyone elses lo done this, were they early with much else? She's always had great head and neck control and sits for a while unsupported if I hold her hands but I wasn't expecting independent sitting.

Also she had her 2nd lot of jabs on Tuesday, she still has a fever and will randomly scream in pain especially when she wakes up either on her Own or by a noise etc. The injection sites look fine so it's not them thats causing pain. Any ideas? Is it normal?

Thanks x

My baby can't actually do the sitting up herself but if she has my hands to stabilise her she can pull herself up and has been able to since 10 weeks. Like your bubs, she's had good head control from an early age. She can balance sitting on my knee for about 10 seconds or so before she starts wobbling. Can't wait until she can stay sitting up :)

I think my lo's motivation for it was a better view of the tv tbh lol

Haha I'm constantly surprised at how far my baby can turn her head to watch TV. Must take after her mum ;)

Lol mines the same. It's the only thing that soothes her when she can't contain her anger at waiting for a bottle to be made.

my lo can sit up for a few mins on his own hes been doing it since monday :)

Mine rolled at 12 weeks, she loathed sitting!
