Well yesterday my little girl entered the world!!!
I got induced on wednesday due to the itching disorder. I came in at 2pm and was given thr first and only tablet at 4.30pm. By 8pm I was getting pains. At 2.30am Thursday morning my waters had broken and contraction started every 3-5mins. I got given gas and air ( omg I loved tht stuff) I got checked at about 7.30am and I was only 1-2 cm was so happy tht things were moving. The pains got stronger I was checked again at 12 midday to be told I was still the same. She tried to pull my cervix forward omg the pain was out of this world I was screaming she was so sorry the midwife she was like tht was the worst examinations she has done was so hard. My hubby said I looked a mess the pain I was in. After tht I I got given tht injection thts a drug into ur leg!! Did nothing apart from make me spaced out. In the end I said epidural please and drip please. I had the epidural at 2.30pm took 6 tries to put it in was a shocker. But when it went in it was amazing
By about 6pm I was contacting and things were moving well
I got checked at 8 and was 4 cm was so chuffed. Got checked all through the night by 5 am I was 9cm and then by 7am I was 10 cm. I started pushing at 8am on friday morning was doing this for 2 hrs in the end they said I needed help. So called the 2 doctors on call, these were my consultants which was brilliant. They did an internal and omg it fel like his hand was so deep inside me I nearly passed out.
In the end they choose to do a forceps delivery. I had to be cut across aswell as a tear down 2nd degree. By 10.29am our little girl Summer Daisy Hooper was born weighing 7lbs 4oz. She is perfect
3hrs after she was born she had to go special care cos her Oxygen levels were low and they were worried about infecfion due to the time between my waters breaking and giving birth to her. She is doing really well just a shock seeing her like this tho
Tomorrow I get to go feed her and change her bum for first time so cant wait. She should be out sunday and I cant wait for tht.
Im in so much love with her. Hubby is smitten with her!! She is defo a daddys girl lol
