I'm on my second different over the bump pair and they just fall down :( maternity tights give the most flattering shape under dresses ( which I really want to wear). Once they're on they start to slide down from right over my bump to around my hips! I don't want under the belly or stockings as they won't shape my bump. Boooooooo and lol.

But what can I do? Someone said to wear knickers over them but surely that would create a knicker line.

Anyone have any secrets they can share. I'm tired of my jeans and want to be wearing my fab dresses comfortably.

I was out last night wearing a lovely dress I bought and how attractive I must have looking yanking my tights up all night. It's most annoying too.

Something so simple ???!!!!!! Oh and they are the right size by the way.

Any other maternity tight puller uppers out there? Xxx:nope:

Braces?!

I had a pair that I had to gather in a little lump at the side and twist round so they were a bit tighter at top (if that makes sense).

Lol that's what hubby said last night!!!! Hehe :)

The band is tight but I will try pulling in the sides with a knot or safety pin. OMG. Madness!!!

Thanks

They are a pain, maybe you'll have to try a smaller side until your bump is bigger. You've made me want to get some dresses out now, I've been living in trousers!

I don't know how true this is, but apparently if you spray hairspray on the inside of the over the bump part of them just before you put them on it helps them stay put. Obviously its a no-go if you have sensitive skin though...

Great both good tips. They fall down literally legs and crotch too tho lol!

My sister once had them around her knees in a shopping centre!

Thanks girls :) x

I don't know if these will work (I am thinking of trying them as have same problem with all trousers!)

Lol that's interesting! I can't believe they've invented braces yet can't get tights right lol. You must let me know if you think they'd work well on tights. Tights could be a bit delicate but maybe we should invent them for tights to bra. Great idea tho. Huummmmmm???

Thanks xxx

I have the same problem, but not sure what the solution is....I've just bought some from mothercare and so far they are a lot better than debenhams and m&s ones....The still sag a little, but at least there not down my knees after a 10 mins walk! :+)

Yeah mine were both Debenhams. I'll try the other brands.

Thanks Hun x

MINE TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I was so excited when I bought some proper maternity tights in mothercare before christmas, I am usually a size 12 n I got the medium, wore them on my birthday with my new dress and every 5 steps I was yanking them up from my knees. Tres sexy I think not ;) Anyhoo I havent found a solution apart from the ones I am still wearing are large ones from F n F at tescos, not maternity but they at least stay up when I am teaching all day.

Not sure just how high they come as I don't have any, but could you safety pin the top of the tights to the bottom edge of your bra maybe? I don't know lol!!

hehe thats a good idea as they do pull right up to my bra! OH the glamour ;)

Thats what I couldnt understand, it was like, how can something that reaches right up to my bra be around my knees in 10 mins. :haha:
