I got this off another website --

'With regards to Agnus Castus (Vitex) - I swear by the stuff. What it does is to shorten your follicular phase (the part of the cycle before ovulation) - so technically can work to shorten your cycle and promote ovulation. 2400mg of extract should sort you out but it often takes 3mths to take effect. Also, it's worth checking your luteal phase (second half of cycle) isn't a bit wonky (often is after the pill), it's worth taking Vitamin B6 (100mg) anyway as that ensures the luteal phase is long enough for the egg to implant (10days usually).'

Im sure you can start taking all the tablets youve mentioned from now, i dont think there is a day during the cycle when you cant take them :)

Hope this helps xxx

sorry iv just come back online  i dont take agnus castus but i think you take it everyday like every other herb :)... Vitex is Clomid hun, its just another name for it :hugs:

did you get yourself sorted out? xxx

Iv found this on agnus castus hun :) hope this helps ...

Take it every day of your cycle, not just the week before your period, as it needs to balance the hormones over the whole cycle.
Once the symptoms have gone completely, stop taking it. You can start again if the symptoms return. aka :bfp:
Please don’t take Agnus castus, or Black Cohosh, or any other hormone-balancing herb if you are using hormonal contraceptives, such as the Pill, the mini Pill, the contraceptive injection, the coil, or an implant. Don’t take Agnus castus or any hormone-balancing herb if you are on hormonal medication such as anticancer treatments.

I hope this helps... by looks of things you take it everyday until you get your :bfp: take a few cycles to kick in but by cycle 3 your hormones should be well controlled :D xx

Serum Progesterone 47.7
Serum Prolactin 520
Was told today that meant i def Ov last month!!
So how come im not pregnant????
Anyways it cud have been worse news i guess
So do i need to take any of those now? I dont know?
I kno im a pain askin u again!!
Thanks XX BabyC

hmm im not sure, but it cant hurt.. if you know your ovulating you could always just get the pregnancy milti vitamins from tesco and take one daily- they are on offer 3packs for price of 2. it only cost £6. People say get pregnacare vitamins but they are exactly the same but more expensive :)

Plus they say that you have a 30% chance of concieving each time you Ovulate? so maybe last month just wasnt your month.. sorry hun.

Hope your ok xxx

Yep it will do no harm just good.. and yeh im using tescos own and i find them great.
haha, yeh im rather chilled i think my husband is more stressed about it :S but it isnt even him its my PCOS his sperm count is through the roof, Super lol! xx

Please be careful taking Agnus Castus when you ahve no problems can cause you harm, and cause problems to arise that you didn't have before.

If you ovulate and have regular cycles (which it seems you do) there is no need to take either Soy or Agnus Castus. If it ain't broke - don't fix it.

I was reading some info from my fertility sepecialist and it says that on average only 25% of eggs are of a good enough quality to be fertilised, which is why getting preganant can take a while. Also, as you get older egg quality diminishes, which is another reason it can take longer.
