After losing our first confirmed (but suspected second) pregnancy a couple of weeks ago, I have become like a woman possessed in my mission to become pregnant again asap. I feel so sorry for my man. In fairness to him, he has not complained but he is clearly shattered!!
I have attacked him for at every opportunity (ie everyday) for a week. I got a positive OPK yesterday and so it has ramped up a level again to ensure I am fully stocked of little baby making at all times!
The poor chap got jumped on yesterday morning, he spent all day yesterday trying to construct a huge shed in the garden, he was on a night shift last night, he got in and had 4 hours sleep, he got up and fixed my tv to the wall then spent the last 4 hours finishing the shed, came in and made the mistake of stripping off and lying on the bed in agony with his back and he got attacked again!! Bless him, he made such grimacing faces like he was in a fair amount of pain but persevered and did the job.
Oh well, he will be off the hook for the next two weeks now and can have some quality recuperative time whilst I go crazy with my pee-sticks instead!!
If we are lucky he will get the next 9 months off, if not, he will be put through it all again next month!
I just thought I would spare a thought for the long suffering chaps who not only put up with our constant demands for their bits and pieces for a week or two a month but then the neuroses for the following two weeks and our depression when AF hits... and back to the demand... and repeat... and repeat...!! Good on you guys
