My rant on my oh and his procrastination.

Sooo for months I've been asking my oh to help me start getting the house organize esp with a new baby coming. I'm not a neat freak but I dont like mess nor clutter lol. He keeps saying I'm stressing and we have time cus the baby isn't due until January lol. For one I told him that babies doesn't always come on their due date all the time. This is his first child but my second, so I def know wth im talking about lol. I know there's time left. But I dont wanna procrastinate to the last minute. Our baby shower is in 2 months and we have soo many ppl willing to give us second hand stuff once we found out the sex which is in a week. The thing is with the second hand stuff we have noo where to put it. Not to mention if we don't have space to put the second hand stuff WTH are we gonna put the stuff from the shower smfh. I keep telling him time is going to start flying. Honeslty ladies I just want some organization in my household and I feel like their isn't any. Its bad enough that I'm pregnant so I can't do as much esp with me always being tired. Urrrghhhhh. Sorry for it being soo long. I just needed to vent. Anyone else going thru this???? Lol

I had it out with DH last night because he hasn't opened his Daddy book that I bought him months ago, nor has he looked into the issue of circumcision like I asked him to when we found out we are having a boy. I totally get it

I have the same issues hun. i just think its a lot of men in general that seem to procrastinate. IT DRIVES ME MAD! i just want to be organised and get things done but OH always puts things off as much as he can. Its always next week and then he thinks of another excuse why he can't do it. Its so frustration, especially when we can't do any heavy lifting ourselves.

Just don't worry, try and take a back seat and maybe he will surprise you.

My husband has g.a.d (generalized anxiety disorder) and sever panic disorder. I have a hard time getting him to do much. Tho I understand his disorders. He's a procrastinator on top if. I had to get the nursery done two months ago so I wouldnt have to do it when I got farther along. It just so happens that he may have to eat cereal for dinner (tea)or wash his own clothing because ive run myself ragged organizing and cleaning. I sooooo can relate.

So relatable! My sister in moving into our to basement apartment to be a live in nanny for when I go back to work but there is so much to be done down there! No one has lived down there for over a year and we had a water pipe leak recently. Dh fixed the leak and cleaned up the area but there is still so much clutter from his using it as a storage area and his gym equipment!!!! I have been begging him to move the heavy stuff so I can do the rest but he still hasn't!! My sis has already turned in her notice at her current apartment and has limited time to move!! On top of this I just spend all weeks painting and remodeling our bathroom, deep cleaning and waxing all out hardwood floors, cleaned washed all curtains in the house, used the carpet cleaner on the furniture AND maintained the normal chores (dishes, clothes, general tidying and cleaning after everyone) all this just so I can go back to work today!!! From here until delivery I am only off weekends and holidays so there will not be much time for anything else!! Argh!! I'm stressing just thinking about buying/cleaning/sorting baby stuff not even near there yet!!

sorry, I guess I need to vent too. Lol

I basically started myself did loads and then oh joined in he's really got it now bless him tonight after work he's painting my kitchen
Sometimes they don't see why we want things doing so early but like I said to my oh I'm not going to get any smaller lol soon I won't be able to do as much

DH waited until the last minute with DD too, I think it's not quite "real" to them until the panic of "oh-sh#&-baby-is-coming-in-like-a-week" feeling hits them!

Yess. Idk why their like that lol. Its obviously that we can't do as much cus were pregnancy and need more help lol. Its irritating honestly lol.
