My slow cooked beef casserole

    For 3 people.

    600g of casserole steak
    baby/ charlotte potatoes
    casserole vegetables (I always buy the pre packed from tesco)
    casserole mix
    oxo cube
    cup of good red wine
    doughboys (doughballs)
    2 small onions
    oil (I always use my home made garlic oil)

    Fry the onions in oil until tender, add the wine. Simmer for a minute
    Brown the steak in the onions & wine.
    While thats browning add the casserole mix and all vegetables and potatoes into a large pan or casserole dish- put on a slow heat or gas mark 3-4 in the oven.
    Add the meat and onions when browned. Oven/ hob heat for about 6 hours until very tender. Add water and a little wine if you need too.
    Add the doughboys in the last 20 minutes before serving

    Serve with crusty bread! NOM NOM!!!!
