Ok my son is 2 and I have been worried about his growth since he was about 10 months old. Every couple of weeks I would get him measured and he would not have grown, we finally got a referral last june but then moved to the states
Anyway long story short, we got him an appointment with a pediatric endocrinologist 2 weeks ago where he was measured, still 75cm.
The doctor then did blood tests which showed my son is anaemic, his electrolytes are off and so is his calcium.
He also had a bone study, this showed his bones are too young for his age, his growth plates are not developing properly and he has bowing of his legs
Now the doctor was stumped as to whats wrong with my boy and is speaking to a bone specialist and a kidney specialist but we are still in the dark and worried sick!
Does anybody here have any idea what could be wrong?
