My sons nurse pricked herself after injecting him

So yesterday my son had to receive a antibiotic shot because he has been having a ear infection for a while now, after she gave him the antibiotic shot she informed me that she had pricked herself AFTER giving him the shot and was needing blood work. My son is only 17 months old, he was screaming crying and not having it when they tried to take his blood, 4 nurses couldnt hold him down his blood gushes out cause he kept moving with the needle trying to get in his arm so i stopped them and took him home, he is suppose to go back tomorrow for his second set of the antibiotic shot and i was just wondering if i could refuse the blood test for my son.
