my story(good and bad)and long

Ok...this is 3 weeks late but here goes... i woke up at 6.15 and had a rumble....kinda like really bad wind moving but somehow more...then i peed a little.i stood up and more came out so i went to the loo and more came out!i woke hubby at 6.30 and said "its half 6, you need to get up for work, also my waters broke" he got up and dressed and said he was gonna stay home with me but I sent him off to work. I figured when your waters go you still have AGES before you need to go to hospital. I called the hospital and they said call back at lunch time. I called my mum and told her and skyped my dad. Whilst speaking to dad I had a pain...id been having them pretty regularly but thought it was too early to have contractions(dumb, right?) anyway, dad saw what was going on and made me ring the hospital again.they told me to come in as i was contracting for a minute every 5 mins.i called OH and got him to come home, he loaded up the car and off we went. Whilst waiting for him I had my show (whilst being sick and having a contraction - thought i was gonna die!lol)got to hospital at about 10 and was 3 cm dilatedand was straight into the pool with some gas and air...it was kinda lovely and the pain was ok...i went on like that pretty much all day...i dont really remember timings after that but i got to 8 cm VERY quickly and then kinda stayed there. Eventually i got out the pool and had some morphine(this was about 6pm) just to have a rest as I was exhausted. The morphine wore off and THEN i started pushing!i pushed for several hours but she got stuck.to end up with i was having contractions with no break in between and my body was pushing without me, but she was stuck so it was agony. dignity exited at this point and i ended up just shouting no!no!no!i kinda blacked out (not passed out but zoned out) i was totally lost to fear and panic!they tried to catheterise me but couldnt and i just screamed fuck repeatedly as they did it lol they got me down to thetre and got me an epidural which was lovely, then they got the catheter in and got me opened up...it took 2 men to pull her out as her shoulder had got lodged in... i was drifting in and out and dont remember it too well but they handed her to OH and he showed her to me.she was borm at 4.32 on the tuesday after my waters had gone almost 24hours before!...i couldnt see her face properly and was kinda like - thats not my baby - even thogh i knew it was. she was then tucked under my arm and we were taken to our room. the hospital i was at only has private rooms that night oh didt want to leave so he didnt-he asked the midwives and they brought him a zed-bed so he stayed with us the whole time i was in my midwife also stayed on shift til Ella was born and we were settled in our room all the midwives were lovely anyway, Ella Raine was 8lbs9 and we are all home and really good. they let me out on the thursday as i was getting cabin fever!i love her so much...dunno what i did with my time before i had her lol
