Been trying to conceive for a year in june with no luck. I have always had irregular cycles 1 or 2 a year!! I finally went to the doctors who referred me for a ultrasound that found I have a 5cm dermoid cyst on my right ovary. I also had bloods taken my testosterone is slightly high, my thyroid is normal but I have a high level of prolactin.
Still unsure whats causing the lack of periods have to go back next month for another scan to check the cyst to see if its grown, then maybe I will have to have it removed. I was also tested for ovarian cancer that came back ok but I had a smear test that came bk 'borderline' abnormal so have to have another.
anyone been through anything like this and what are my chances of being able to have a baby?? im scared its never gonna happen for me.
