Hey ladies, ill try cut this down as bit long winded!
We went to labour sun morning, about 3am. Had pains on off and called unit and was told leave it long as can and call bk. As was bday I sat in garden on gym ball contracting all day! Left it to 6pm and went in, and was told only 2cm and go home etc. But. At 11pm, my waters sontanciously broke wen cuddlin hub on sofa! Was sooo much. Called unit again, and told can go but if still 2cm will hav go home, by this point I couldn't cope and went! I was checked and was still 2cm! However cervix was thin and low. I told her I didn't wanna go home and as she said was v quiet they would let me have a walk, and try pool. As it happens baby was back back and soo painful back pains! Had lunge up and down stairs and pool was amazin! This was all at 3 ish, and by 6am she checked me this mornin, and to her amazement I was 8cm!! So said of course I could stay and by 730 I was fully dilated! I had pool for delivery too and she was born today at 830ish weighin 8lb!! Omg I had no pain relief and also pushed like u never seen, and gave myself a 3rd deg tear, so had to have a op this afternoon, had to have a spinal block done and after all natural birth home same day- we are stayin in tonight. Can't feel stitches byt got 8 drugs to take and home go home morro if all ok. Got a cather in and bit unconfy and bleedin but rather me be hurt than babba. Midwife check says she fine, we left cord attached until 1hour after and stopped pulsin. She is very long and seems be in good health. Been breast feeding, plasena came way naturally, alth u do have to push it!!
All midwifes etc bEen amazing. Now gonna see if get few zzz as been up since 3am sun!

. I'm so broody now again now Benjamin is a toddler they grow so quick make the most of them being little
