My water bag is bulging through my cervix..... TMI

and im serious, do not read if you dont like tmi! lol

Me and hubby have avoided sex due to the events of the past few weeks, but last night we were having a bit of 'fun' lol

He was having a play with his fingers and just as he placed his fingers inside, he jumped and said that he felt what must be my cervix and like a bubble sticking out through the middle.

I touched it too (i didnt stick fingers in or anything) and yes its my cervix, sort of with like a donut hole in the middle and a water bubble sticking out!!!

Maybe these tightnings over the past few days have been doing something. I know Jenson is head down now (can tell from his movements) and no wonder ive felt lots of pressure down there!

I doubt my bag will break as i know from previous kids, my membranes are VERY tough

I dont see any point in calling lw as they said they wouldnt stop it if i went into labour, but i cant see oh going near there for a long while! Frightened him to death!

Sam rest!!! and stop sticking your fingers everywhere lol If you're dilated, your waters can easily break from just walking around, at least that's what I read. Your cervix must be short at this point and dilated, no wonder you're feeling something.

As a mummy of preemie babies I would advise you to go and get checked out. Prem birth isn't something to dismiss....and you're only 30wks. Babies at this gestation need lots and lots of help and having steroid injections and adequate care will make all the difference if this is a real possibility....I have lost two of my prem babies as they weren't strong enough to survive....I really think it is the responsible thing to do by getting checked, don't leave it to chance and then regret it later on

Ha ha i wasnt poking! I only stroked the top of it (it was quite near the front)and i know that wont do any harm!


For the past 3 days, ive had around 4 hours each day of painful tightenings that get closer and closer and then just stop. The rest of the time, i get them every couple of hours. Ive had about 2 tightenings since last night

Thankyou and im sorry for your losses. He had steroids last week. Ive had 3 premmies before myself which is why they said that they wont stop it. I will give them a call and see what they say xx

OMG Sam id be scared shitless if i felt something like that and be straight up to hospital my cervix that high doubt i'll ever be able to feel it like some women on here can Hope everything goes ok sweetie and Jenson stays put a little longer xx

I also think you should get checked out hun! I know they wont be able to do much but at your last visit they didnt feel those memranes did they? And your obviously dilating for them to have got through like that. Was it definatley your waters as they should probably have felt quite far back if they were poking out of your cervix unless your cervix has come forward?!?!?!?!

Hope everything is okay, definatley give them a ring at least and just say your OH has felt something whilst having sex.

Im still here. I havent called. I guess i dont really know what to say lol! Im just going to rest and keep an eye on things. Got period cramping but thats about it xx

Sam that's what Ive been going through since Sunday, lots of tightenings and cramping about 3 min apart. I bet ya too Im dialated. If it makes you feel any better, my water sac is very tough also everytime, the dr last time couldnt believe how difficult it was to rupture my membranes lol. That was the only thing keeping me from going into labour. I was 5cm and 2 weeks late when they decided Ive been though enough and ruptured for me. But, what I was getting at, is I went through that for 2 months, bh's strong enough to dialate me, bulging bag, and I did everything!! Speed bumps, jumping jacks, bouncing on a ball, stairs, even the last resort,... sex. First time ever I told oh to just give it to me hard and that was all for nothing, still didnt break it. So you may very well be ok, but I would at least go in to get the steroid shot for the baby's lungs, jic. xxx

Thanks hun, hes had his steroids so hes covered for that. Im just going to sit on my bum and do nothing! xx
