My water bag is bulging through my cervix..... TMI

From my experiences, I think he will come pretty soon. And i know that you know what you feel like when you are about to have a baby. Are you feeling the way you did when you had your baby at 31weeks? I am feeling the way i did last time but i had her at 33weeks. I am only 27weeks. I hope to make it at least 5 more week when i had my earliest. She was in the NICU for 11 days. I think being further than 30weeks is great and he should do great as well. I checked again this morning, and she is not head down anymore which makes me nervous because her little hands or feet can fit into my cervix and punch out my waters. i like it better when she is head down b/c i know nothing can get through and the cord cant slip by her head either, i wonder how i can flip her.

I do feel the same as i did with Lewis, thats why im sooooo glad that hes had his steroids. He was born only 2 hours into my 31st week and that was only because they wanted to check he was head down so i had to have a scan when i was fully dialated (soooo not easy to stop yourself pushing!)

SO he could have quite easily been classed as a 30 weeker baby too! He was in scbu for 3 weeks so he did brilliantly.

I feel a lot better about him coming anytime from now, to what i did a couple of weeks ago

Fingers crossed your lo stays put a bit. Jenson was flipping around the other week and that worried me too about his hands and cord, but he seems head down now and staying there! xx

Ooo lovey, im sure you know your body best and you know what you need to do. Hope little Jenson stays put for a bit longer. xx

hi i am sorry to be ignorant, i am at risk of prem labour, and my lo is def breech, should i be worried about the cord slipping down or something eek?

Ellahstruts~ I would say that if you are not dilated, you shouldnt worry about the cord and bulging water bag. Have you gotten checked out by your MW?

It could be your bladder has prolasped, as that can be felt as a lump at opening or just inside. I am worried about you, and baby xx

I know i only felt it for a second or two, but it was deffo my cervix with a little bubble and i would say 99% it was my waters

Ive just thought of the best way to describe it

Imagine a roll on deoderant, the way its round and has the ball bit sticking out..... like that but squishy lol!

Well ive had a mega increase in discharge today, i feel so yukky all the time and a bit crampy, so i may call them

Thanks for all of the support, i really appreciate it xxx

That is a great way to say what it feels like. Mine is the same way but it isnt sticking out of my cervix but in the middle and i can push it into my cervix to feel the opening. i know gross. I havent been feeling inside lately but have been feeling the outer part to see if baby is head down or not. I push on my inside just below my cervix and see if i can feel the head it feels hard and round. I can tell if she has become engaged or not by pushing her head upwards, if she bounces or bobs, she is not engaged. If i dont feel her round head i know she is now breech.
I hope you get to be checked out, i would lie and say i had lots of contractions, then they would have to check you and they will feel the bags too.

did u get checked? i had bulging membranes and was in labour 24hrs later at 33 weeks, please get seen hun, x x
