My Water Broke! **Updated with pics**

I went in for my appointment with my midwife today. She was checking my cervix when all of a sudden she looked at me funny and said "oops" then I felt like I was wetting myself! Funniest thing ever lol! I was 4 cm dilated at the time and last time I was checked (a couple hours ago) I was at 5. My contractions were in my back and they were the worst pain I've ever felt so I got my epidural. I feel great now! They're going to check me again in a few minutes, if I haven't progressed they're going to give me some pitocin. So now I'm just laying here talking to my mom and watching House Hopefully things progress!

**Update!**
They checked me again around 10:30 PM and I was still at 5 cm so they gave me some pitocin. By 11:30 I was starting to feel some really intense pressure down there. They checked me again and I was 9 cm dilated! My midwife left to help with a c-section and when she came back it was time to push. I pushed for about 15 minutes and out came my beautiful baby boy, Braedyn He was born July 23rd at exactly 1:00 AM weighing 7 lbs 10 oz and measuring 20 1/4 in.

oooh! Good luck!! I went through labor watching House as well Although when I actually started pushing some movie with Denzel Washington was on and they were shooting at taxi cabs. I remember saying in between pushes, "What the hell is this? Why am I giving birth to this? Turn House back on!"
