i had a miscarriage with my previous pregnancy, it was very early on, just a chemical. but it still makes me worry during this pregnancy. i'm almost ten weeks. a missed miscarriage is what really scares me. how common would this be in an 18 year old who saw the heartbeat at 8w5d. currently 9w5d.

First and foremost, congratulations on your pregnancy :hugs:
I'm so sorry about your previous loss. I haven't experienced it but I can just say stay positive and try not be stressed by it! :flower:

I really hope things work out for you and hope you have a healthy and happy 9 months! :baby:

Hey hun, I totally understand how you feel.
I too, had a miscarriage last year, and Im now almost 4 days off being due with a very healthy pregnancy.

They say the risk goes down to 5% of a miscarriage after seeing the heartbeat.
Its normal to worry, I did until about 25 weeks, when movements were regular and stuff, but try not worry yourself too much, stress is the last thing you need.
xx

thanks everyone for understanding..i just feel less sick today..my morning sickness has been steadily pretty bad..and it just always worry me when i dont feel my pregnancy symptoms as much..my boobs dont hurt today either.

Hey! Congrats on your pregnancy and I'm sorry for your loss. I suffered a m/c as well and never stopped worrying throughout my 2nd pregnancy that I would lose the baby. But thankfully everything turned out just fine! Try not to stress about it too much hun, the risk goes down when you see the heartbeat! Congrats again.

Edit: Just saw your most previous post. I was exactly like this! I would worry that if my boobs weren't hurting as much as they did the day before I was miscarrying or like, if the morning sickness went away. I worried throughout my ENTIRE pregnancy, like if I didn't feel him kick all day I would think the worse things. Until I actually had him in my arms was the only time I felt like everything was fine but even now I'm always worrying haha! :flower:

for first time pregnancies m/c rate is higher most ladies go onto have a second healthy pregnancy.
once you see the HB the chance of m/c decreases to around 5%

I had a previous loss too, and exactly how Amy said.. you don't stop worrying until your LO is actually in your arms. but then it starts a whole new type of worry :haha:

my advice would to be just try & enjoy your pregnancy as much as possible :hugs: x

Welcome to B&B:wave:
Congrats on your pregnancy,
Hi I'm Lorna I’m 19 and I'm 28 weeks pregnant with my baby boy

My pregnancy symptoms were up and down all the time and I also had a MC in January this year and I was soooo petrified of a MMC, after 12week scan the fear does go away a lot and once you feel movements it will be a lot easier.

MMC are not all that common, especially once you see a HB and a pregnancy after a MC is supposedly a healthier pregnancy.
